Apply for a gull licence
Find out about gull management
If you are not experienced with gull management, you may wish to seek advice from a pest control specialist. However, there is no requirement for you to use a pest control specialist to carry out the work.
You must read the following before you apply:
- Gull Management Guidance (opens in a new tab)
- Gull identification and annual cycle guide (opens in new tab)
Do you need a gull licence?
If you need to manage gulls to preserve public health and safety, you must have a licence for:
- nest or egg destruction
- relocating chicks
- lethal control
If you already have a licence
You must apply for a new licence each year. We can only issue a new licence after you submit a return. Check your previous licence for instructions on how to submit returns.
